Overview

Full time, benefited position working 72-80 hours every two week pay period. Days of work are Monday through Friday with hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Weekend work is 0-4 hours/month.

Seeking a marketing champion - someone who excels at event planning, public speaking, written communication, photography, and video as well as traditional and social media. This individual will be responsible for helping manage the JRMC brand, providing insight and guidance, generating and managing relationships, and supporting growth, while supporting in the promotion and positioning of the hospital and it's care teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develops marketing collateral including writing, photography, video and graphic design
  • Develops, implements, tracks and analyzes marketing programs such as email, social media, digital campaigns and events
  • Advances web-based content development and drives the updates and maintenance of internal and external websites, social media, etc.
  • Execute, monitor, manage and analyze social media campaigns and performance across multiple platforms - Twitter, Instagram and Facebook
  • Chairs the Community Events committee
  • Collaborates with Marketing Manager, Strategic Planner and VPs to development market analysis and marketing plans
  • Champions the execution of the JRMC Legend Award
  • Coordinates communication with media and key partners
  • Promotes JRMC at internal and public events, vendor shows, health fairs, speaking opportunities, hospital tours, etc. and organizes these opportunities
  • Champions marketing library, collateral inventory and up-to-date lists of community resources for events, meetings, media opportunities and speaking engagements
  • Maintains and develops great relationships with media, key partners and community groups
  • Works proactively with the JRMC Clinic, Foundation and all JRMC departments
  • Write, proofread, and edit creative and techinical content across different mediums
  • Work with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programs
  • Develops knowledge base of JRMC and products and services
  • Provides assistance to Marketing Manager when needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, skills and experience preferred:
  • Excellence in writing, photography, video, graphic design and public speaking
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Excellent public speaker
  • Excellent analytical skills and a knack for data analysis
  • Strong prioritization, organization, and project managment skills
  • Experience with marketing communications and marketing plans
  • Understanding of SEO as well as Google and social media analytics
  • Proficient in AP Style
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in Business, Marketing, Communications or related area

Work requires one to three years of experience in marketing, communications, event planning, public speaking, fundraising or similar field which builds and maintains relationships. Must have excellent planning, organization, communication, and follow-up skills. Strong attention to detail is a must. Experience with writing, website updates, design programs such as the Adobe Creative Suite are required.
