Job Summary

Order, dispense, repair and adjust eye wear and contact lenses. Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with the selection of eye wear. Must train to aquire or already competently command entry level optical and retail patient service skills necessary to order, dispense, and execute basic repairs and adjustments of eyeglasses and contact lenses.

Department Details

Work will be primarily from 8-5 Monday-Friday at the International Falls location with a rotating schedule, as able, to provide outreach to our Baudette location 1 day per week.
Will hire either a Certified Optician or Associate Optician for this job.

• For the Certified role you must have a current certification with The American Board of Opticianry
• For the Associate Optician you do not need to be certified. High school graduate is preferred. Must have excellent interpersonal/human relations and sales skills. Knowledge of contact lens procedures and care, current brands and solutions and knowledge of eye wear fitting, styles, and materials is preferred. Previous experience in optical or contact lens field is preferred. Will provide training and education of required skills
