Job Summary

Assists in providing diagnostic radiographic procedures according to standards and guidelines. Provides quality patient care. Supports the general, ultrasound, and mammography technologists. Responsible for film filing functions. Image management functions. Able to perform reception duties, including clerical and filing to include reports into patient charts, locating, retrieving, and delivering patient records when needed. Serves as an ambassador of goodwill in providing department services to all clinical and non-clinical personnel. Ability and willingness to perform other duties as assigned by a Registered Nurse (RN) or Radiology Technologist.

Department Details

Position is PRN at Broadway Clinic with the potential of working up to 40 hours per week.
This position will assist the sonographer and radiologist with breast ultrasound procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or its equivalent. Eighteen years of age or older to be eligible for employment.
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, but on-the-job training will be provided. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks of employment and re-certification as necessary is required.
