Job Summary

The Clinical Care Leader (CCL) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care in the home setting. Collaborates with other inter-professional colleagues, to plan, implement and evaluate care.

Documents resident history, symptoms, medications and care provided in compliance with applicable standards/regulations.

Utilizes technology to enhance quality resident care, to collaborate with inter-professional team members, effectively delegate to and supervise unlicensed personnel, assume overall nursing accountability for a resident assignment and serve in leadership roles on department/organizational tasks forces and committees.

Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards as designated in the specific care area or unit.

Must have effective communication skills to collaborate, negotiate and resolve conflicts, situations, and/or issues with peers, inter-professional colleagues, residents and families.

Must have strong clinical reasoning and critical thinking skills to analyze data and appropriately respond to changing situations. coordination of care, resident assessment, resident education, triage, and various other nursing interventions.

We are adding a Nurse Manager to our team!

Good Samaritan Society - Inver Grove Heights is a 46-bed senior housing facility located in the quiet, wooded neighborhood of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota. The facility offers long-term care/skilled nursing care as well as post- acute rehabilitation services.

This position will serve as a Nurse Manager to our CNA's, backup manager for Admissions with the ability to provide backup support in other areas as needed.
  • 72 hours bi-weekly
  • Day shift hours with ability to be flexible to assist with other shifts and weekends as your team requires

Qualifications
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  • Minimum of two years' long term care or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
  • Minimum Data Set (MDS) experience preferred but not required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
