Job Details

Position Information

Grant funded part-time and/or temporary curriculum development/instruction position.Develop Management of Industrial Facilities course supporting industrial automation and/or manufacturing industries. Responsibilities include development of course outlines, textbooks (if applicable), curriculum development (written content, lecture content, presentations, exercises, etc.), and exam/assessment development.

Required Competencies

  • Master's Degree in Automation Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automation, Automation Management, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence & Robotics, Electronics, or related field and 3 years (36 months) non-teaching experience in a related occupation. Or Bachelor's degree in one of these disciplines and 5 years (60 months) non-teaching experience in a related occupation.
  • Must have experience and excellent working knowledge in the management of industrial facilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good computer software skills - Microsoft Office, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive technical and management experience.
  • Curriculum development, teaching or training experience.
  • Project Management Certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification.
