Job Details
Is directly accountable and responsible to the Associate Registrar.
- Responsible for providing quality customer service relating to academic records topics to students, parents, staff and faculty.
- Responsible for maintaining, managing and coordinating student registration related activities in accordance with department guidelines for Early Entry, Adult AG, State Penitentiary, Allied Health and Non-Degree seeking students.

Position Description & Details
Office support duties - 90%
1. Maintains confidentiality of student records consistent with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act.
2. Acts as front line person in Academic Records.
3. Receives and responds to written, personal, and telephone inquiries and disseminates materials and information.
4. Plans, organizes and oversees daily operations relative to student registration for Early Entry, Adult AG, State Penitentiary, Allied Health, and Non-Degree seeking students.
5. Assists students with CampusConnection processes, i.e., course search, registration, class schedule changes, semester withdrawals, course overrides and address changes.
6. Serves as main point of contact for Electronic Transcript and enrollment verifications.
7. Produces academic records in the form of official transcripts for current students and alumni.
8. Performs academic records functions related to course overrides, consent to disclosures and office mail.
9. Scans, captures and routes academic records documents using electronic imaging.
10. Provides relevant and accurate information to students regarding CampusConnection processes.
11. Develops detailed business processes for assigned duties.
Miscellaneous duties - 10%
12. Supports innovation, creativity and ideas to improve/enhance processes, functions, etc. in the department and as a whole for the college.
13. Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Minimum Requirements
1. Appropriate associate degree or two years of directly related work experience.
2. Excellent customer service skills.
3. Excellent computer software skills - Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel and Access), email and electronic calendar and excellent keyboarding skills.
4. Ability to adapt in a changing environment.
5. Proven excellent interpersonal skills (ability to work well with a variety of people).
6. Strong written communication skills, organizational skills and attention to details and accuracy.
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
8. Ability to multi-task and manage many different activities.
9. Disciplined and able to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience in a comparable position in a higher education setting.
2. Experience in and understanding of PeopleSoft software.
3. Experience with using electronic imaging system.
