The Role

Agweek TV is hiring a National Sales Manager to grow national broadcast sales. In this position, you will be responsible for generating revenue by maintaining and establishing business relationships with new and existing customers, as well as present advertising and marketing proposals that address their broadcast needs.

Additional responsibilities include:
  • Create and present multimedia agriculture advertising products to a national client base both new and existing
  • Expand and grow AgweekTV affiliate network
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts and affiliates
  • Initiate and fully participate in all special promotions, packages, and new projects
  • Pro-actively seek out new business clients and prospects
  • Diligently monitor active orders for correct copy, correct programming and equitable rotation of spots to ensure the fewest amount of credit
  • Work with on-air and content teams to establish and develop new revenue generating opportunities
  • Travel, as necessary, to regional sales territories to develop and maintain advertising relationships

To excel in this role, a Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or communications preferred. In addition to three years sales and/or marketing experience. Experience with the use of multiple media platforms including broadcast, digital and print is preferred, along with a basic understanding and knowledge of agriculture, strong verbal and communication and presentation skills, the ability to manage multiple assignments under deadline and ability to coordinate the work flow of projects.

Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time with overnight travel, possess a valid driver's license and a driving record that is insurable by the company, and carry an acceptable level of vehicle insurance as required by the company.
