Staff Accountant

DescriptionWe are working with one of our clients on an open Staff Accountant role. This is a growing company and we think very highly the leadership in accounting which includes the CFO and Controller. They offer competitive benefits and opportunity for advancement.The duties and responsibilities are listed below.??? Monitor and report on daily cash needs for the company??? Monitor and approve positive pay exceptions to ensure??? Monitor and record all banking activity including wire transfers and ACHs??? Record payroll and other journal entries necessary to close the general ledger monthly??? Monitor and record any leasing activity the firm utilizes??? Manage necessary banking activity, including setting up new accounts??? Reconcile all bank accounts monthly and balance sheet accounts as directed??? Reconcile PAC, Defined Benefit, Profit Sharing and Foundation accounts monthly??? Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules??? Prepare audit schedules and field audit questions??? Prepare Foundation tax schedules??? Prepare property tax returns and related payments??? Prepare and file required government surveys???
