Accountant/Financial Analyst III

As a Staff Accountant, you will prepare monthly and year-end closings, journal entries, fixed asset maintenance, bank reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation. You will be responsible for many aspects of internal reporting during the monthly close. You will assist in developing and implementing accounting policies. In addition, you will take part in compliance, communicate with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules for the reporting processes. This position is very involved as it will produce Cash Flow projections, Budgets, and Financial Statements. It's a thriving environment where effort is rewarded.How you will make an impact- Support fixed asset ledger, depreciation, and reconciliation- Partake in annual closing processes- Ad-hoc tasks and special projects, as needed- Be responsible for analysis of income statements and balance sheets and communicate findings to management- Manage capital lease and monthly payment schedules- Help with the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP- Analyze and coordinate a variety of financial data, and report it in a useful and understandable manner- Maintain intricate journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll- Conduct month end close, journal entries, without supervision- Participate in various department-wide initiativesRequirements- Recent and relevant accounting experience- Proficient with spreadsheets and databases- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment- Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines- Detailed and have the ability work independently- Proficient in ERP systems- Spreadsheet and database capabilities- BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics- Comprehensive knowledge of general ledger- Foundational knowledge in Microsoft Outlook- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel- Expertise in account reconciliation- Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills- Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems- Demonstrated ability in strong analytical, quantitative and social skillsAccountemps, a Robert Half Company, matches skilled accounting and finance professionals with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary and temporary-to-hire basis.
