The impact you can have

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with the RSC Human Resources Manager and hiring managers to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the RSC recruitment needs and to deliver top talent into the organization. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage the full cycle, high volume, recruitment for their RSC hourly positions. The position will nurture relationships with prospective talent and manage on-going manager relationships. The Talent Acquisition Partner will act as a true contributor to the growth of the RSC.

What you'll do

  • Supports and encourages Ace Values: Winning, Excellence, Love, Integrity, Gratitude, Humility and Teamwork

  • Full life cycle recruiting. Research, screen and assist in the selection of qualified and suitable candidates to fill hourly job openings for RSC positions. This will include warehouse specialists, drivers, and clerical staff.

  • Conduct "intake meetings" when positions become available. Establish recruiting strategy with the Talent Acquisition Manager by incorporating manager's request, Ace's culture and HRMs recommendation for both the internal and external recruiting process.

  • Utilize standardized phone screens and interview guides to ensure consistency and competency adherence related to the position candidates are applying to.

  • Determine applicant requirements by sourcing and identifying similarities between resume/profiles and job descriptions / qualifications.

  • Act as an administrator for the ATS. Ensure candidates are properly dispositioned in Workday and Indeed. Enter all requisitions, externally and internally post job openings, manage the collection of resumes and applications. Utilize system to gather and maintain notes regarding candidates and the interviewing process. Send all notifications as process directed.

  • Strategize with the Talent Acquisition Manager, Retail Support with regards to corporate branding. Execute consistent job postings, digital, and social media postings reflecting this strategy.

  • Source, phone screen and coordinate all external and internal interviews for RSC hourly positions

  • Administer Physical Ability Tests to qualified candidates

  • Maintain the RSC Daily Recruiting Tracker

  • Administer verbal offers, following up with a written offer to selected candidates

  • Administer post-offer drug testing, initiate background checks, and arrange for clinic visit, if required.

  • Monitor progress of each candidate, and once complete, schedule orientation start date.

  • Ensure all onboarding tasks are complete in Workday, including I-9s.

  • Other duties as assigned

What you need to succeed

  • 3-5 years of high-volume staffing/recruitment experience, strong understanding and ability to recruit hourly warehouse specialists, Professional Truck Drivers, and clerical staff.

  • Experience managing a high-volume recruiting workload (i.e. 40 plus openings at a variety of levels).

  • Demonstrated knowledge of interviewing skills. Needs to be familiar with different interviewing styles.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong follow up collaboration skills.

  • Knowledge of Workday ATS preferred.

  • Knowledge of Employment Law.

  • Professional and charismatic presence; ability to make a positive first impression in all forms of communicative engagements.

  • Results driven and a sense of urgency in an extremely fast paced environment.

  • Attention to detail and exceptional organization skills.

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong decision-making skills.
