Job Details
Stutsman County is currently accepting applications for one (1) full-time Parks Equipment Operator/Maintenance Engineer. This position will report to the Parks Department from approximately April - November and to the Maintenance Department from December - March. The successful job candidate will maintain and provide upkeep to county parks including, but not limited to, garbage collection, grounds upkeep, carpentry, operation of various equipment. The candidate will also provide cleaning, repair, and upkeep to assigned county buildings and grounds such as general cleaning, floor maintenance, windows, snow and ice removal, furniture moving, grounds maintenance, perform semi-skilled repairs on plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, heat pumps, electrical and lighting and other duties deemed necessary.
This is a full-time position: Summer Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. Winter Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
Occasional evening work or travel to off-site locations may be required as job duties demand.
Position requires a minimum of post high school education and/or experience in maintenance field. Successful applicant must have the ability to work in a secure area around inmates.
