The Position

The Assistant Carpenter Foreman verifies the work of carpenters responsible for building, erecting, installing structures, and other fixtures made from wood and other materials as needed to complete various types of construction projects. The Assistant Foreman demonstrates a thorough understanding all safety regulations and requirements, assesses equipment, materials and labor needed to complete assigned projects on time and within budget while ensuring work meets industry, company, and client standards.

Education & Experience

Successful completion of vocational school or technical college or apprenticeship program; or a minimum of three years of experience in the construction framing industry.

Qualifications
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of carpentry principles and methods.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the correct and safe operation of all related tools and equipment.
Ability to understand directions, read and interpret blueprints, solve mathematical problems quickly and accurately and take accurate measurements and calculations.
Ability to lead and work well as part of a team.
Ability to travel for extended periods of time.
Ability to work overtime to deliver projects on time.
Able to provide personal transportation to get to and from assigned work site.

Able and willing to travel throughout the US and Canada.
