As our Marketing Intelligence Manager – Customer Data, you will provide marketing leadership for North America Bobcat Company commercial and marketing data. This role will also provide leadership support for marketing, big data analytics, and a focus on creating customer intelligence to enable elevated levels of marketing efficiency and business revenue growth.

This position is open to a location of West Fargo, ND or Minneapolis, MN.

Role & Responsibility

  • Lead Marketing Data business requirement development across multi-functional workstreams; data management platform (DMP) or customer data platform (CDP), offline data onboarding, big data strategy and analytics for integrated campaigns.
    • Data extraction, collection, cleansing and preparation for efficient and effective utilization across reporting, targeting selects, segmentation, modeling.
    • Lead/manage/perform testing and review to ensure completeness and accuracy of data/content presented in analyses and applications.
  • Work with the internal teams and vendors to develop solutions for marketing constituencies, which include combinations of data, technology, partners, data integrations and analytics.
  • Evaluate data quality through organizational, procedural and/or technological means. With internal technical teams, develop new processes to ensure ongoing data quality, accuracy and completeness in market intelligence applications and analyses.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the data available and applications.
  • Assist in the assessment of acquiring new data sources. Provides input on and advocates for future initiatives/projects/tools.
  • Deliver best-in-class ad hoc marketing reporting to marketing via business requirements gathering and technical spec development with internal technical teams.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills in managing and coaching Market Intelligence data analyst(s). Set project direction, provides coaching, guidance, and review work for quality, completeness and accuracy.
  • Build stakeholder trust and confidence through being responsive, and delivering work that is accurate, complete and reliable. Help to build increased demand for analysis services and a data-driven culture.
  • Serve as digital advertising/marketing ecosystem subject matter expert.
  • Manage, develop, and train team of digital solutions specialists.


Job Requirement

Technical Qualifications
  • Experience with advanced capabilities of one or more data management platforms (DMPs), such as Adobe Audience Manager, Oracle/BlueKai, Turn, Salesforce/Krux, etc.
  • Experience with advanced capabilities of one or more customer data platforms (CDPs), such as Adobe Experience Platform, Tealium, mParticle, Segment etc.
  • Experience with statistical analytics languages and platforms is a plus i.e., Python, Hadoop, Adobe Data Workbench, etc.
  • Experience with ETL tools, Web Analytics platforms administration, SQL query, Customer Journey Orchestration tools is a plus.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree in a related discipline such as Business Intelligence, Business Analytics.
  • 5+ years’ minimum hands on experience in DMP, CDP development; including experience with digital advertising technology or media strategy, analytics or digital agency or equivalent years of experience within the digital arm of a consulting firm.
  • At least 2 years in client-facing role.
  • Polished business professional with strong communication skills, able to effectively communicate with people from different functional areas and different levels of responsibility ranging from campaign managers through to the C-Suite.
  • Experience with digital campaign operations, digital marketing strategy development and overall large account ownership.
  • Offline data onboarding experience a plus.
  • Experience with digital integrations across multiple technology vendors.
  • Comfortable working in a “startup” environment within a larger company and demonstrated ability to organize and establish a team in such an environment.
  • Experience in data management & data governance a plus.
  • Marketing background, understanding of dealer marketing related data.
  • Ability to perform extensive data analysis (comparing multiple datasets) using a variety of techniques, visualizations and tools to uncover patterns, predictions or insights.
  • Strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to employ critical thinking, objective analysis and evaluation of an issue in order to form a judgment/opinion/recommendation.
  • Ability to drive continuous data management quality (i.e. completeness, accuracy) through defined and governed principles.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate data quality issues effectively.
  • Be able to plan and lead projects to completion.
  • Show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Travel
