**Quality Control Technician**Blue Earth, MNCompensation: $16.75Schedule: M-F 2:30pm-11:00pmAssignment Length: 6 month contract with potential for permanent employment **Job Responsibilities:**Perform physical, chemical, and organoleptic evaluation using a variety of laboratory equipment.Responsible for the identification and isolation of non-conforming materials as well as issuing hold orders as appropriate.Monitor and enforce company and government regulations pertaining to Good Manufacturing Practices and sanitation requirements.Perform and document daily GMP inspections.Perform and document sensory evaluation.Assist in gathering and cataloging incoming raw ingredients samples.Support established pest control program.Assist in compiling quality and statistical data.Responsible for laboratory equipment calibrations.Gather and assess quality and statistical data through multiple software applications including Syspro, Bar-coding, and LIMS database as well as Microsoft Office Suite. **Required Qualifications:**Must have a high school diploma or GED.Must pass a timed basic math skills test without the aid of a calculator.One year work experience with food.PC proficiency.Must pass pre-work physical.Ability to communicate verbally and in written form. **Beneficial Qualifications:**Related AA degree.Work experience in laboratory environment.Work experience with SQF or other formalized quality programs.Strongly prefer a stable employment history with at least 2 years of continuous employment at one employer within the last 5 years.Previous manufacturing experience preferred.**Why Kelly** **??** **?**Kelly??
