The Web Engineer creates and supports marketing technology improvements and project deliverables for large development efforts, deployment activities, and ongoing maintenance/development requests. Depending on the incumbent, this role may focus in AEM, Marketing Automation or Systems Integration and is accountable to the Web Engineer Senior and Marketing Technology Manager.

The position requires broad, technical development expertise and the ability to prioritize and execute on project deliverables for large and small projects as well as contribute to innovation of new concepts and ideas, and continuous process improvement.

Typically the Web Engineer will work with the Web Engineer Senior on assignments that are critical to the success of RSM's digital strategy and brand reputation. They will provide a technical consultant role on programs and large projects. Work within the web team responsible for the fidelity of the web site and related tools/technology. This includes, but is not limited to maintenance, patching, upgrades, and performance optimization of the various platforms. Coding expertise is required.

Collaborates closely with the Digital Marketing & Audience Engagement team technical SMEs to identify platform development opportunities and educate on updates, capabilities and best practices. Strong concentration of skills in AEM or systems integration required.

Essential Duties:

Complete development duties as assigned by the Web Engineer Senior and the Marketing Technology Manager. Build, test, and deploy web development solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve bug issues as necessary. Recommend appropriate web development advances that advance RSM goals.
Provide consultative advice to stakeholders and SME's on the best practices for site development, specific to AEM capabilities.
Manage technical project risks and issues. Recognize and determine the appropriate corrective action to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget and scope.
Define and manage program technical platform to assure the solution is delivered with high quality, meeting business requirements, on schedule, and within budget.
Create and maintain technical project documentation to identify, evaluate, scope, plan, monitor, and follow up on the technical aspects of active projects.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer programming or information systems or similar work in a related field
Adobe Experience Manager
Adobe Analytics, Target, Launch and DAM
Microsoft SQL Server, C#.Net, ASP.Net
Web development knowledge
SDLC Knowledge
2-5 years of experience in computer/marketing technology development/systems integration or related area
Ability to impact and influence a diverse population Ability to support, affect and implement change Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage priorities and proactively communicate with stakeholders
Working knowledge of BA, PM, QA processes and how to integrate development seamlessly
