Patient Scheduler

Responsibilities for a Patient Scheduler include:
-Scheduling of appointments, procedures, tests, and/or other appointments pertinent to the department in an efficient manner while maintaining client and staff satisfaction.
-Obtains all necessary information from the physician and/or office staff to make appropriate arrangements.
-Responsible for communications within and across departments to ensure the most efficient response for patients.
-Performs miscellaneous clerical, clinical secretary, and registration functions as needed.
Job Requirements:
-Minimum 1 year of office or scheduling experience
-Working knowledge of medical terminology
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Compensation: $13 - $15 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week. Shifts are typically daytime and start times will vary. Some weekend work may be needed.
