Plant Buyer/Purchasing Specialist

Owen, WI

Length: CONTRACT role, 3-4 months long

Pay: between $23 - $28/hr (based on experience)

Hours: M-F 8-4:30

Start Date: ASAP

This role encompasses all activities related to plant purchasing. This role helps support the plant production planning group by ensuring raw materials are readily available at the plant for upcoming production. This role will be completing the following activities:

• Review Material Shortages daily to ensure materials are readily availability for upcoming production
• Enter purchase orders and stock transfer orders to bring more raw materials into the plant
• Review changes in the schedule daily to ensure any outstanding material risks are covered and communicated
• Utilize transportation management systems to schedule trucks to pick up and delivery materials to the facility
• Review any past due orders to ensure they are addressed and resolved on a daily basis
• Work with other Sites to ensure internally sourced materials are ordered and communicated
• Update master data related to lead times and MOQs from external vendors

This user must have the following qualifications and experience:

• Previous SAP ERP system experience
• Previous experience in material call off/purchasing
• Previous experience using Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
