Job Summary
Good Samaritan Society - Scandia Village is committed to creating a home for our residents that is much like their own - a welcoming and loving place. Our range of exceptional care and service options for seniors and others in need in our community includes senior apartments, assisted living apartments and outpatient therapy. Assists residents with self-administration of medications. May administer medications with proper training.
Assists residents in maintaining proper and clean appearance, bathing and maintaining cleanliness of all body areas, and toileting needs.
Helps residents with dressing and undressing and maintaining proper clothing.
Assists with preparing and serving nutritious, appealing meals and snacks to residents following orders, standards and regulations. Folds, hangs and distributes clean linens and personal clothing. Prepares and launders soiled linen / clothing. Cleans residents' rooms and bathrooms, work areas and other public areas.
Department Details
Overnight shift times for this role is 11:15pm to 7:30am with weekend rotations

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- If working at a facility in which a lift is utilized to move residents, must meet the minimum state age requirement.
- Ability to communicate and comprehend; ability to measure and comprehend certain quantities
