Job Summary

The Business Development Specialist works closely with the executive, administrative and operational leadership within Sanford in a variety of areas. This individual will have an overall responsibility to: · Develop an understanding of the health and nutrition industry. · Apprise market dynamics to create a marketing strategy to meet membership goals and sales targets. · Plan and implement strategies to identify opportunities, develop new business and expand market share within the defined territory · Deliver sales results against assigned quotas and the development of a sufficient, qualified pipeline of referral sources and members to meet high-growth revenue targets. · Build and maintain qualified leads through telephone prospecting, cold-calling, e-mail and direct marketing. · Create strategic proposals and deliver compelling presentations to prospective customers. · Effectively utilize corporate promotions and resources to increase membership and a referral pipeline. · Network and partner with local community members to build brand awareness and client base. · Develop a go-to market strategy for new and existing stores and product lines. · Drive all social media and on-line marketing strategies as supported by Corporate and digital media vendors. · Work closely with store managers and coaches to implement market strategy and coordinate sales efforts for each store (i.e. presentations, lunch and learns, promotions and new store launches). · Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree required- business focus preferred. · Minimum of 2-5 years business to business sales experience, medical sales preferred. · Proven ability to succeed in a competitive sales environment. · Technical skills (i.e. computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Microsoft Office Suite). · Understanding of online tools for use in lead sourcing. · Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and oral). · Organization, planning and persistency skills. · Strong work ethic along with professional, proactive demeanor. · Quality of Delivery - Work should be accurate, consistent, timely and thorough.

Department Details

Job duties for this position includes:
  • Developing and managing relationships with employers and Sanford Health departments within the assigned markets
  • Driving business growth by expanding Profile’s footprint in the surrounding region
  • Identifying new business opportunities
  • Generating new member leads and closing memberships
  • Presenting to decision makers
  • Representing Profile at community and booth events
  • Independently prioritizing daily tasks in a way that accomplishes short and long-term goals
  • Executing business development plans within the assigned markets

This position will provide business development for the Nampa, ID and Meridian, ID, locations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required and field of study can vary depending on area. Degree emphasis can include but is not limited to, Business Management, Sales & Marketing,
Current valid driver’s license is required.
