Job Summary
The Network Analyst is responsible for the design, planning, implementation, performance tuning, recovery, security and the highest level of availability for supported network, wireless and phone systems. The analyst serves as an advanced technician in the area of network, wireless and phone administration. This position recommends the redesign and configuration of network, wireless and phone systems. The analyst investigates and analyzes issues and acts as next level support for our ITSC and troubleshoot and resolve any network, wireless or phone issues. This position will start to fully manage some of our critical setups and systems and become a go to resource for our technical team.
Essential Job Functions
Takes responsibility for the problems reported and sees to it that a fix is provided, and the customer is informed and satisfied. Troubleshoots problems in an appropriate timeframe. Tests and maintains local area network infrastructure. Manage tickets and responses through our ticketing system. Acts as a troubleshooting and knowledge resource for our ITSC.
Manages mission critical systems that are supported 24/7/365.
Participates in on-call rotation. Ensures that after hours coverage of customer support is maintained per department policies and procedures. Responds to after hour calls in a timely manner.
Learn and maintain advanced knowledge of our system, network and infrastructure. Demonstrates the knowledge and use of advanced analytical skills and advanced technical concepts.
Ensure that all networks are appropriately secured. Documents all appropriate activities.
Maintains WAN network, wireless and telephone infrastructure. Performs network configurations. Responsible to implement, test and maintain LDAP, DNS and DHCP. Monitors performance, availability, and security of supported networks
Upgrades operating systems, system software and monitoring systems. Upgrades physical hardware, including removing and replacing equipment. Some of which will be done after hours.
Configures, upgrades and troubleshoots WAN, LAN, and Wireless Connectivity.
Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
•Demonstrates understanding and follows infection control policies and procedures according to standard operating procedure.
•Maintains requirements for age specific competencies for the position and demonstrates the knowledge or principles of growth and developments and the skills necessary to provide patient/customer care/services.
•Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of and compliance with: •All pertinent safety, health and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines.
•Working safely, without causing harm or risk to self, others or property.
•The work environment safety procedures and prompt reporting of unsafe practices, procedures, accidents, injuries or other safety violations to the Leader.
•The use of all safety equipment and personal protective equipment.

Associate's Computer Science Required
Or
Associate's Related Field Required
