Be an instrumental part of developing a new program!

We are seeking a Program Manager to:

Plan, implement, and monitor performance of the Donation Recovery Center (DRC).

Serve as an advocate for donation, deceased donors, donor families and potential organ recipients.

Ensure ongoing regulatory preparedness, compliance and industry standards/best practices are consistently maintained.

Work with donor hospitals to promote program, provide education and support research protocols.

Education:

Minimum Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, business, management, or other relevant field.

Preferred Masters degree in healthcare administration, business, management, or other relevant field.

Work Experience:

Minimum Two (2) years of leadership experience or progressively responsible experience in healthcare, business, administration or management.

Preferred Five (5) years of leadership experience or progressively responsible experience in healthcare, business, Organ Procurement Organizations, transplantation, administration or management.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to include the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts and build teams.

Demonstrated creativity and flexibility.

Ability to operate in high-pressure situations.

Excellent organizational skills.

Demonstrated innovative approach to problem resolution.

Ability to work collaboratively across UW Health entities and disciplines.

Demonstrated commitment to patient and family centered care.

Effective analytical abililty in order to develop and analyze options, recommend solutions to and solve complex problems and issues.

Physical Requirements:

Heavy: Ability to lift up to 100 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, 40 hours per week. Scheduled shifts are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
