Job Details

The Wellness Center Coordinator will assist in the planning and implementing of activities programs for the residents to stimulate them physically and mentally during recreation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Schedules apartment visits with all new residents and develops a rapport with them and their families to develop an understanding of the tenants’ needs and interests.
  • Plans and coordinates activity programs and outings for assisted living which can be led by staff (Universal Workers or LPN). The programs are planned to meet the needs of residents with varying levels of physical and mental abilities.
  • Plans, coordinates and leads social functions, activities, educational programming, and attendance at community events for independent living residents.
  • Coordinates activities with other Eventide Assisted Living Apartments when appropriate.
  • Maintains the activity budget.
  • Makes recommendations and communicates to the Housing Manager and RN on changes or concerns in residents.
  • Plans, coordinates and leads programs in Wellness Center.
