We are currently recruiting for a permanent placement for a Credit and Loan Operations Manager located in West Bend, WI

$85, 000-$100, 000 yearly salary based on experience.

This position oversees all aspects of loan processing, underwriting and consumer credit policy to ensure effective workflow and credit approvals. The Manager of Credit & Loan Operations shall provide strategic direction for lending operations including organizational structure, LOS & AUS platforms, and workflow processes as the Company grows. This position works closely with Executive Management and ensures that all underwriting policies are executed successfully.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide leadership, management oversight, and effective operation of underwriting, processing, and funding team members including organizational structure as the company grows.

Manage the Company' s consumer credit policy and automated underwriting system (AUS) including analyzing policy rules, maintaining policy guidelines, and making recommendation to Executive Management for changes to policy.

Accountable for credit and authority granting process, including consistent application of a credit policy, periodic reviews of existing loans, and assessment of creditworthiness for potential customers.

Accountable for oversight of our Loan Origination System (LOS), document processing and contract funding process, including identification and implementation of process improvement opportunities.

Effectively communicates corporate and team objectives on a regular basis to create a positive working environment to achieve productivity and performance standards.

Ensure professional relationships are established and maintained with dealers, clients, and customers.

Assess team member development needs, draft development plans, and monitor performance.

Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws/regulatory requirements as related to functional areas including Truth in Lending, Reg B, Reg Z, and Bank Secrecy Act. Complete training as required.

Continuously work with staff to enhance customer service in our efforts to create raving fans.

Knowledge/Skills Required

Bachelor' s degree in business or equivalent and 5+ years of managerial experience with proven success in driving results and exceeding goals

5+ years of experience originating consumer loans, preferably in an indirect / dealer environment

Proven ability to lead, motivate and successfully manage a team.

Must be able to develop the skills of team members through goal setting, delegation, training, and performance management.

Outstanding analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.

Adept at utilizing most current technology and software to manage the loan origination pipeline through all phases.

The candidate should be detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Able to work varied shifts including, but not limited to, nights and weekends.

Proficient understanding of consumer credit reports and information contained therein as it relates to credit decisioning.

Global thinker: Ability to see the company as a whole and recognize the relationships between each department
