Ag/Commercial Loan Officer

Qualifications:
* Comprehensive understanding of ag/commercial lending
* Ability to analyze and underwrite credits
* Ability to oversee and evaluate the entire loan portfolio

Experience Required:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Ag Economics or Other Related Field
* Familiar with FSA, BND, SBA is beneficial

Key skills: organization, written and oral communication

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
* Managing and growing an existing loan portfolio within credit union and regulatory policy
* Fostering relationships with new and existing members
* Ability to gather information and perform credit analysis
* Preparing credit presentations for review at Loan Committee
* Making credit decisions independently and as part of a loan committee
* Documenting loan advances, application of proceeds and tracking loan payments
* Answers to Loan Manager and/or CEO
* Work with branch manager and consumer loan officers to provide solutions and products
* Engage in communities within the field of membership to positively promote the credit union
