The Vice President, Finance (M&A, Indirect Procurement and Real Estate and Facilities) for Company will be responsible for the strategic leadership of the Mergers and Acquisition, Indirect Procurement, Real Estate and Facilities functions. In this important leadership position, you will lead all aspects of Company's acquisition strategy, including deal sourcing, valuation, diligence, negotiation and integration planning. You will also have accountability for indirect procurement spend, including strategic leadership of centralized spend optimization for the enterprise. Also, you will provide leadership for the global real estate strategy to ensure alignment with business strategies to drive efficiency and effectiveness. And, you will manage facilities initiatives to increase employee productivity, engagement, and retention and have responsibility for the physical security of the office spaces and emergency response planning.

This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is located at the Corporate Headquarters in Eden Prairie, MN.

Responsibilities:

Mergers & Acquisitions:

  • Acquisition strategy: Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to align on acquisition strategy for each leader and ensure executives are well versed in deal process, valuation, diligence and integration principles.
  • Market research and financial analysis: Continuously evaluate market prospects and companies in alignment with enterprise strategy and objectives. Lead the market research, financial analysis, and risk vs. return assessment.
  • Identify, qualify and nurture potential acquisition targets: Thoughtfully nurture target relationships across the portfolio of in alignment with enterprise priorities. Direct solicitation and prospect pipeline building. Effectively manage investment bank relationships.
  • Create financial modeling and valuation analyses, reports and presentations on target acquisitions.
  • Lead best in class negotiations and due diligence efforts.

Indirect Procurement:

  • Ensure an effective procurement strategy, including alignment on long-term goals to deliver outstanding enterprise results.
  • Align with and influence key stakeholders on RFP best practices to support quality, resolve complex issues, and generate significant year-over-year cost-savings.
  • Measure and communicate spend, savings, operational efficiency and other procurement related benchmarks to achieve overall operational excellence.
  • Lead the comprehensive supplier management process including evaluation, selection, and relationship management of suppliers, along with KPIs to effectively measure performance.

Real Estate & Facilities:

  • Ensure a strong global real estate and facilities strategy with executive alignment.
  • Evaluate real estate needs, analyze real estate matters and implement solutions ranging from lease renewals/terminations, new site selection, expansion, consolidation opportunities, and lease versus buy alignment.
  • Prioritize, identify cost reduction opportunities to deliver strong outcomes. oversee the identification of cost reduction opportunities and actions to deliver agreed outcomes.
  • Oversee continued portfolio assessments in order to effectively leverage Company's footprint; track, analyze and report capacity metrics, risks and opportunities.
  • Oversee the Global facilities and physical security function including building access and emergency response planning.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 10 years of Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions or Sourcing and Procurement experience and/or relevant business experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of people management experience; proven success developing talent.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% (domestically and internationally).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing significant real estate, facility asset and capital and expense project portfolios on a global basis.
  • Experience in negotiating purchases, supplier collaboration and compliance.
  • Strong leadership skills in a fast-paced, global, decentralized, multi-site, growth-oriented company.
  • Strong strategic planning and critical thinking skills with the ability to evaluate broad impacts of work.
  • Has led complex change efforts through building support and consensus.
  • High level of comfort consulting with, healthily challenging and presenting to senior executives.
  • Successful influencer who can interact and build relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders and take action in a complex organization.
  • Strong ability to organize, prioritize and manage competing, high priority demands.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to tailor messaging to the audience.
