Our client is currently seeking a Licensed Electrical Engineer. In this position, you will be working for a reputable Architectural and Engineering firm.
Job Duties:
Conduct calculations for lighting and power systems, data and information technology, and equipment selection for building electrical systems.
Develop detailed bidding and construction document plans for external clients.
Research and specify products, equipment, and systems to meet client expectations.
Conduct assessment of existing systems and provide recommendations for refurbishment or replacement.
Provide estimate of probable construction cost for electrical designs.
Verify proper construction of design elements on construction sites.
Closely collaborate with designers and drafters to assist in development of deliverables.
Calculate energy consumption of electrical systems.
Client communication and correspondence.
Work collaboratively with engineers and architects.
Required:
BSEE or higher
Professional Engineer (P.E.) License
5+ years of experience in the engineering and design of electrical building systems
Revit design experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong teamwork and organizational skills
Preferred:
LEED accreditation
RCDD certification
Pay Rate:
$80-110K, Depending on experience
