The Supply Chain Manager, reporting to the Director of Planning & Logistics, is responsible for leadership within the CPC Global Supply Chain BioPharma segment. The manager will lead teams with expertise in planning demand and supply and is responsible for meeting customer service levels with maximum efficiency. This person will drive problem solving, using data, for underperforming areas of the supply chain and drive ownership throughout the organization for corrective action.

Essential Responsibilities:

Lead teams with expertise in demand planning, purchasing, and production planning
Develop high performing teams focused on achieving segment performance objectives
Create or maintain standard business process for forecasting demand using statistical modeling while driving cross functional alignment
Work cross functionally and lead reviews with leadership to ensure adequate capacity internally and at suppliers
Develop inventory and replenishment strategies that achieve goals for delivery and cost
Provide operational support and guidance to ensure maximum productivity and schedule attainment
Develop and maintain processes to prevent and address component shortages
Collaborate with other departments to identify vulnerabilities and close operational gaps
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that improve quality, productivity, efficiency of operations, and support dynamic changes in market conditions
Collaborate with Supplier Quality to address quality concerns
Develop good working relationships with stakeholders internal and external to the company to ensure acquisition of accurate, relevant, and timely information
Analyze and track supplier performance data, execute follow-ups and corrective actions as necessary
Prepare, submit, and present periodic reports

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, engineering, or technical discipline
10 years experience in supply chain or operations management
Prior leadership or functional experience in demand planning, buying, and production scheduling
Proficient in the use of Excel, Access, and other analytics tools
Self-driven, adaptable and resourceful; able to work under limited supervision
Experience managing projects with medium complexity and a high-volume of data

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of management experience
APICS CPIM or CSCP
Prior Lean Sigma experience or certification (Green Belt)
Project management experience
Oracle ERP experience
