Description:

Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.

Creates and implements inspection criteria and procedures.

Interprets quality control requirements to key personnel in organization.

Coordinates quality objectives and production procedures in cooperation with management to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.

Provides inspection activity for product throughout production cycle.

Applies total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes within each department.

Directs workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.

Works with suppliers to insure quality of all purchased parts for company use.

Creates and directs process/equipment validations.

Designs and implements quality control training programs to key personnel in conjunction with managers.

Investigates and adjusts customer complaints regarding quality.

Performs Internal Audits of the Quality Management System to ensure compliance to procedural, customer, and regulatory requirements.

Serves as Project Leader on project teams designated to resolve issues and implement solutions.

Assists in reviewing and revising processes within the QCBD(Quality Management System).

Medical device, Audit, Iso 9001, fda, quality inspection, gd&t, iso13485, quality management system, machine shop, micrometer, calipers



Top Skills Details:

5+ years of working within the Quality setting in a Machining Environment (Medical or FDA environment is strongly preferred)

5+ years of experience creating and implementing inspection criteria and procedures

3+ years of GD&T experience along with the ability to use quality inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers



Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

5+ years of experience working Quality within Medical, machining, and or FDA regulated environment

5+ years of experience creating and implementing quality inspection criteria

3+ years of GD&T

5+ years utilizing quality inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers

3+ years working within ISO 9001/ISO 13485 Quality Management Systems
