This new opportunity and role will be a key part of our Regional Product team and support the development and management of new individual market insurance products. Major Responsibilities: This position within the IEX Regional Product Team will have multiple responsibilities and work across a series of markets to manage a suite of competitive individual market products.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within United States as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage IEX products for aligned regional markets, including developing and maintaining single source of truth and market-level templates for all offerings
• Serve as Product team lead for aligned local markets
• Work with local market leaders to align national product designs to state regulations and benchmark plans
• Lead product portfolio development and refinement, including pricing of local offerings with Actuarial.
• Align cost-sharing with competitor plans
• Lead product rollout for aligned markets - file and respond to state objections during filing season
• Understand state level product requirements for new markets within region
• Work closely with Legal/Regulatory state leads to track product requirements and be the single source of truth for state benchmarks and requirements
• Support IEX wargames and work closely with pricing team to maintain product databases
• Identify any areas of regulatory advocacy and work with regulatory team to drive it forward

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree
• 5+ years of relevant healthcare experience in product or program management role
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in business, public health preferred
• Individual Market, Medicaid, or Commercial insurance experience with knowledge of state & federal regulatory requirements
• Analytical skills and ability to review data and make fact-based decisions and/or recommendations
• Able to balance strategic thinking with the urgency to drive work forward
• Adapt quickly to changes in work direction and able to pivot work accordingly
• Develop creative solutions to complex problems
• Team player with strong ability to form working professional relationships
• Strong communication skills (persuasive written, oral, and presentation skills)

If the hired individual resides in Florida (office based or telecommuting) this position requires the AHCA Level II background check (fingerprinting) by the State of Florida for all clinicians that have direct face to face contact with members OR employees who will have access to confidential patient data and will require renewal every five years.

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $94,500 - $171,700.
