Calling all digital marketing experts! Forum Communications is hiring a Marketing Operations Manager to join our marketing department.

This role is perfect for a tech-savvy marketer who thrives working in marketing technology systems. The Digital Marketing Operations Specialist will assist in building out marketing programs that convert and retain subscribers, including the configuration of website interstitials, audience segmentation rules and marketing automation activities. This role is perfect for someone who is great at learning new systems and has a passion for digging into data to make decisions.

Other responsibilities include:
  • Manage and oversee demand generation strategy, with a specific focus on web and email channels.
  • Operate and oversee multiple paywalls, including the setup of detailed audience segmentation, events, triggers, actions and offers.
  • Regularly experiment, measure and report out on audience activity with our products and web overlays, optimizing for best performance.
  • Partner with marketing automation and operations specialists, copywriters, designers, strategists and developers, to execute multi-platform campaigns from concept to deployment.
  • In coordination with the director of membership marketing, develop a comprehensive acquisition and retention strategy to grow and retain subscribers.
  • Maintain and evaluate marketing technology infrastructure and work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure marketing and business processes are running smoothly.

Requirements:
  • 3 years experience in a marketing automation/data/CRM-focused role required. Subscription industry experience preferred.
  • Marketing automation platform experience required. Sailthru experience is a bonus.
  • Experience managing the targeting and display of on-site overlays and Google Analytics is preferred.
  • Experience mapping out marketing automation funnels is required.
  • Experience in team management preferred.
  • Exceptional problem solving skills, strong analytical skills and understanding of website metrics.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines with strong attention to detail.
  • High level knowledge of user-level data, media attribution and general digital media tracking/data landscape preferred.
  • Ability to learn and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
