Located in Fort Atkinson, WI, the Wisconsin Packaging Division specializes in the design and manufacturing of corrugated packaging and displays. To stay competitive, we emphasize continuous improvement in technology, efficiency, and design.

Job description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing electrical and mechanical repairs to all converting equipment. This work will include troubleshooting immediate issues, planning, and executing projects during downtime, following a preventative maintenance plan, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. This position will be on second shift, working 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed as well as the willingness to change hours, as needed.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Three to five years of experience in a maintenance position and/or schooling combined
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
• The ability to troubleshoot problems independently as well as following instructions and procedures accurately to ensure proper workmanship.
• Effective communication skills with colleagues, production employees, and members of the management team.
