Job Description Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for supporting the Accounting Manager in performing duties related to both human resources and accounting administrative functions for The Council House, Lighthouse Resort and Wingspread. This position supports the maintaining of standards within established policies and procedures of the respective disciplines.

Job Description:

Essential Functions of the Position:

Accounting responsibilities include:

* Manage petty cash banks
* Make timely and accurate bank deposits
* Maintain monthly inventories
* Communicate WSP inventories to TJF
* Maintaining license and contract files
* Assisting in the renewal of annual licenses
* Maintain confidentiality in all areas including home office reporting duties personnel and accounting functions
* Input for approval, the accounts payable into the Intaact system
* Maintain invoice and purchase order tracking sheets
* Maintain vendor files to include W9 submissions and requests
* Track aging and assist in resolution of AR account balances
* Prepare average hours report and distribute to managers

* Human Resources responsibilities include:

* Reconcile monthly benefit billings.
* Conduct associate orientation sessions.
* Prepare and complete new hire paperwork
* Facilitate uniform ordering and replacement to include nametag and security badge issuance
* Maintain birthday, anniversary and special occasion dates and facilitate card signing and mailing.
* Spearhead associate cultural committees and activities.
* Attend committee meetings, record minutes and send meeting minutes.
* Participate in human resources regional and home office calls to stay informed regarding the latest human resources and benefit developments.
* Other tasks:
* Place and track office depot orders
* Marginal Functions of the position:

* Become increasingly familiar with the Johnson Foundation and SC Johnson culture and key personnel and maintain a guest profile when appropriate.
* Must be proficient in the use of a variety of computer software programs such as word processing and spreadsheets.
* Become increasingly familiar and supportive of the Benchmark culture.
* Enthusiastically participate in our team environment by learning additional roles and be willing to cover other property functions as your training, skills and availability may allow.
* Education, experience, and skill required:

* High school diploma or equivalency is required. The person holding these positions must possess excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Advanced knowledge in the use of Microsoft office applications required for the position. Prior accounting and human resources experience preferred but not required.
* Ability to travel between properties and effectively work remotely when feasible.
