Join us- we have work for the next hundred years.Our Entry Level Safety and Quality Auditor promotes and audits all aspects of the Safety and Quality program to help keep our crew's working safe.Perks Competitive Benefit Package including Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage 401K w/ Company Match Voluntary Life & AD Insurance and Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Vacation/Sick Time and Paid Holidays Potential Bonus Opportunities Career Development Opportunities Employee Discounts Weekly PayrollResponsibilities Audit field operation crews on continuous safety and quality development Provide hands on safety and quality inspection, on-site job coaching and development Ensure all field operation crews are following all Safety & Quality, OSHA, PHMSA, and Customer Guidelines Conduct internal quality control audits, maintain audit and safety reporting Conduct incident investigations and root cause analyses Perform other duties as requested by leadershipEducation, Skills, Experience Needed High school Diploma or GED Completed OSHA 10 and Competent Person Training preferred 3 years of underground utility construction experience strongly preferred; knowledge of underground utilities and locator markings, gas pipeline construction and replacement is strongly preferred Knowledge of OSHA, PHMSA, and Customer Guidelines Bilingual English and Spanish speaking and writing is a plusWorking Environment Work is performed in the field at construction sites; field work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English Must be able to sit, stand, and/or crouch for extended periods of time Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds Work with a heightened awareness within the "red zone" of heavy equipment Flexibility to work varying schedules and stay late when necessary Ability to travel within the state routinely and out of state occasionally Requirements Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify Valid driver's license with no more than 3 moving violations and no DUIs within a two year rolling period Pre-employment medical fit-for-duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card With the health and safety of our employees, customers and the communities we serve in mind, all candidates who receive an offer of employment will be required to complete a COVID-19 risk assessment; your responses will help us determine an employment start dateEqual Employment Opportunity StatementThis job description is subject to change at any time.
