Associate Construction Manager (Finance)The Team We are seeking an Associate Construction Manager ("ACM") to join American Tower's Site Development organization. The Site Development team delivers all new assets and manages capital improvement and structural redevelopment projects across a given portfolio. Day to day you will focus on following operating policies, procedures and standards to ensure property assets are constructed and preserved through sound and consistent procedures. As an ACM, you will partner cross-functionally to focus on timeline adherence and overall successful implementation of construction initiatives for all project areas, including lighting and monitoring systems, tower modifications, capital improvements on existing assets, and backup power. Come grow your career with us!This position may be located in any of our main offices: Cary, NC; Woburn, MA; Schaumburg, IL; Irving, TX; Irvine, CA What You Can Offer Us Work with all levels of the Company's Network Development, Program Management, Engineering, and Network Operations teams on construction projects; manage budgets, schedules, vendors, site designs, material ordering, progress monitoring, site utility coordination, and closeouts. Execute field team operational procedures to ensure consistent and continuous compliance by all employees and vendors with applicable safety and regulatory requirements, standards, and protocols. Meet project timelines and deliver quality products. Proactively identify potential risk issues and collaborate with the Senior Construction Manager to develop a preventative action plan to address them. Provide problem resolutions and create good working relationships between the client/customer and field team. Troubleshoot, negotiate, and mediate client or subcontractor problems or complaints that arise at site level. Develop strong internal and external relationships with key constituents and work with the Site Development team of Network Development and with the Network Operations Program Management teams to ensure projects are properly scoped and executed according to plan. Other duties as assigned. What You Need to Succeed Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management required. Minimum of 1 year of professional experience required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office required. Demonstrated understanding of general construction principles and practices as they relate to wireless site construction projects. Sound financial analysis and budgeting skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities. Approximately 30% travel may be required in support of the position's responsibilities. Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively. Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results. Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment .
