Develop implement and maintain the quality plans to sustain the Quality and Health, Safety and Environment Management System. Oversee the QHSE Department team to manage team deliverables, commitments and Company goals and milestones. Develops, documents, implements and maintains standards, methods, and procedures for quality assurance, quality inspection and visual inspection. Maintains all quality systems to assure they are effective and efficient. Drives corrective action preventive action teams.

Essential Functions

Provide ongoing coaching to QA Engineers, HSE Coordinator, Quality Assurance Inspectors and Visual Inspectors to maintain and improve the Quality & HSE Management System.

Assess product specifications and suppliers of raw materials to be in compliance with customer requirements.

Interact with Production, Purchasing, and Customer Service to maintain compliance with raw materials and finished goods.

Define Quality Procedures in conjunction with all local departments.

Oversee effectiveness and efficiency of document control process.

Liaison with customer's auditors and ensuring the execution of internal corrective actions, customer complaint responses and supplier corrective actions.

Identify, monitor, and execute quality & HSE trainings.

Supervise Quality Department staff in carrying out test, inspection and in-process checks.

Manage Quality & HSE Department budget.

Promote understanding and compliance to ISO9001 & ISO14001.

Determine and execute quality objectives for the company. Ensures that Quality Policy is reviewed, communicated, and understood.

Ensures, in accordance with the Corporate guidelines, the implementation, updating, review and auditing of the Company HSE Systems

Define and manage company's KPI for quality, health and safety metrics and use the data to identify and to reduce risk.

Works closely with Engineering and Facilities on special projects involving plant construction, equipment design, and hazardous assessments.

Assists in all aspects of incident investigation including verifying root cause and approving the implementation of preventative actions

Manage the 6S program, shop floor security on site and support the sustainability of Lean principal on shop floor through period audits and part involves meeting

Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines

Manage company's KPI for HSE metrics and use the data to identify and to reduce risk.

Define and manage the proper department budget

Works closely with Engineering and Facilities on special projects involving plant construction, equipment design, and hazardous assessments.

Maintains Chemical Hazardous waste program including chemical accumulation and accumulation area inspections

Internal/External Audits (5 Completion and Non Conformities)

Customer Claims

Action Plan execution and 8D's report

Skills, Experience & Education

Bachelors of Science in Applied Science, Engineering or similar

Minimum 3 years prior experience in Supervisory role

Minimum 5 years prior experience in Quality Assurance Manager role

Minimum 10 year prior experiment in Quality role

Demonstrated experience working with Contract Manufacturers, Suppliers, Distributors

Technical knowledge experience with Quality Management Systems, ISO9001

Strong interpersonal, leadership and technical skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability

Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies.

Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and presentation skills

Strong understanding of Root Cause Analysis tools (RCA)
