Senior Java Developer - remote or onsite options after covid

Our major wealth management client is looking for Senior Java Consultant with strong experience in backend development including API's, Microservices, Cloud and Kubernetes for long term contract. **Looking for W2 Consultants only** Job Description: Looking for a back-end Engineer to work with our team to support growing team. Looking for an experienced engineer who is passionate about designing and writing code. You will be working with an agile team of Java developers, building applications that are deployed to the cloud. You'll work very closely with our engineering group working on our AWS and Kubernetes platform and API's on the backend to support modernization business process. Responsibilities:

• Fast learner and self-starter.
• Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision, yet actively interact with other team members in person or over the Internet (chat, videoconference, email).
• Work collaboratively on creative solutions with engineers, product managers, and designers.
• Bring new ideas and new ways of solving problems to the team.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree and 5 or more years of professional experience
• Java Spring boot Familiarity with gradle or maven API development and microservice architecture
• Experience with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization
• Good understanding of GIT and source code management Familiarity with cloud providers like AWS is a plus
• Experience working with BPM software is a plus

Must Have:

• Java Spring boot Familiarity with gradle or maven API development and microservice architecture
