Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Christian Community Homes & Services Board of Directors, the Executive Director/CEO must create an environment that translates the mission of CCHS into actions that are conducive to the maximum well-being of the residents and communities being served. The Executive Director/CEO needs to provide visionary leadership and administration of key strategic initiatives to keep CCHS at the forefront of the industry. He/She will provide the daily leadership for attracting, developing, and retaining talent; achieves short and long term financial objectives; ensures compliance to mitigate risk; anticipates industry trends; and engages in business development activities to advance the reputation and services of CCHS. He/She is expected to play a primary role in representing CCHS to the State legislature, local government, the Hudson community, professional organizations, and the United Methodist Church of Hudson.

Special Features/Requirements (license, certifications, etc.):

Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree desired. Financial acumen to manage operating budgets, financial statements, and other related fiscal reports. 5+ years of progressive leadership experience working in elder service sectors. Experience working with nonprofit boards. Broad based understanding of applicable federal and state policies, regulations, and interconnected systems affecting the care and services we provide. Fundraising/development experience desired.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversees administration and outcomes of all Christian Community Homes and Services, Inc. programs and services.
  • Ensures that CCHS operates in a fiscally responsible manner and that all financial practices meet the highest standards of integrity.
  • Works with the Board of Directors and assigned committees on issues related to goals, strategic plans, policies, quality of life, program decisions and other issues as appropriate.
  • Takes a visible leadership role in assisting with the development of the Christian Community Campus Foundation and related resource development.
  • Serves, in partnership with the Board of Directors, as the primary contact or representative at legislative hearings and with attorneys regarding all legal issues related to CCHS.
  • Explores, assesses, negotiates and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors, or applicable committees, regarding business development and long-range planning.
  • Develops programs to maintain high employee satisfaction and morale.
  • Researches and assesses the availability and appropriateness of potential grants that could be used to enhance current programs or fund the development of new programs and/or services.
  • Ensures that marketing plans and materials appropriately convey the values, mission and tradition of CCHS.

The CCHS mission of service includes several different choices of care and housing environments that share a common culture rooted in Christian values. CCHS is comprised of the following companies:

Christian Community Home (CCH) of Hudson, has provided post-acute rehabilitation and skilled nursing services since 1981. Our Red Oak Center for Rehabilitation and Fitness specializes in short-stay rehabilitation care in a unique and comfortable healing environment. CCH is certified for Medicare and Medicaid, as well as for many private insurances.

WinterGreen Senior Apartments opened in 1986. There are 92 apartments. WinterGreen offers Independent Living (apartments without services) OR residents may choose from a wide array of ala carte services designed to support maximum independence for as long as possible.

Pine Ridge Apartments opened in 1993. Pine Ridge is licensed by the State of Wisconsin as a Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF). It consists of 37 apartments with 24 hour staffing and provides assistance with activities of daily living. The Pine Ridge Assisted Living model offers care and support services in a home-like, apartment setting

In 2009, Pine Ridge Gardens was created to provide memory care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s Disease.  This is a specialized environment that is safe and secure, yet offers both indoor and outdoor space for free movement. Residents have private apartments connected to a family style living space to come together for meals and activities. The Pine Ridge gardens care and service model is specifically designed to maintain a sense of dignity and community for residents and families alike. Advancing memory loss is a journey.

2011 marked the opening of Christian Community Home (CCH) of Osceola, WI and Hearthside Assisted LivingThe CCH of Osceola/Hearthside campus is a beautiful household style living environment that reflects architectural design principles commonly referred to as Neighborhood Design. However, the purposeful blend of indoor and outdoor living space on the CCH/Hearthside campus is anything but common.

CCH is a 40 bed Skilled Nursing Facility and Hearthside Assisted Living is a 20 bed Community Based Residential facility (CBRF). Like the Hudson campus, the Osceola campus offers a choice of care and service models designed to meet a variety of post-acute and chronic care needs.

However, the CCH campus is physically attached to the Osceola Medical Center via an indoor connecting corridor.
