Our newly established Product Management COE is focused on building Commercial Launch Excellence in the $11B Global Products (GP) organization. He/she will work together with the Vice President, Global Product Management to drive commercial excellence in the New Product Introduction (NPI) process across GP for Johnson Controls.

How you will do it

Build commercial launch excellence within the 10 GP businesses to drive profitable growth and deliver on financial commitments as detailed in project business plans.
Develop best-in-class processes and tools to ensure successful commercial launches of products:
Develop marketing-driven marketing/sales enablement programs and campaigns
Develop and execute complex multi-stage marketing/sales programs
Develop and manage content to support product launch activities
Execute marketing plans aligned with product roadmaps, marketing strategies and brand strategies
Build Commercial Launch Excellence skills in the organization by training and coaching key product leaders in the businesses in the following Strategic Product Marketing focus areas:
Create and manage successful product and service launch activities, and drive awareness and adoption of the product/solution in various channels to market
Create innovative lead generation activities that align with project revenue goals
Analyze data to develop customer insights to ensure launch success
Identify successful competitive product positioning via value propositions for target market segments and customers
Develop appropriate KPIs to measure success of launch activities, and drive ROI analysis for marketing programs for customer acquisition, engagement and retention
Develop tools and processes to improve trade-off navigation when incorporating conflicting functional feedback
Develop tools and processes to improve collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Digital, Regulatory, and Compliance, as well as other key functions to ensure launch success

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Operations, Marketing, Communications, Business or related field of study.
Minimum 5+ years' experience in product marketing.
Proven success in leading, planning and implementing successful product launch programs.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Self-motivated, results-oriented and possessing a strong sense of urgency.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, presentation, time management and organization skills.
Able to both lead and work collaboratively in teams and support all levels of a large and complex enterprise.
Able to gain trust with leaders across multiple layers in the organization.
Able to navigate a highly-matrixed organization.
Highly customer-focused and able to manage conflicting priorities.
Able to travel 10%+.
