This position is also responsible for key account management. Location: Janesville, MNFive Key Roles:Lead, Manage, Hold People Accountable Provide leadership by setting clear standards, goals, expectations and leading by exampleHire, fire, review, reward and recognize employees based on core values and GWCDemonstrate accountability and hold others accountableActively plan for employee training and developmentKey Account ManagementDevelop business relationships with key producers in regionIncrease market share with key accountsEnsure target account relationships are maintained and enhanced as established by Sales & Marketing Manager Development, Coaching, Mentoring Train and develop sales team to maximize their professional potential Develop, implement, and execute customized training and development programsConduct individual professional development meetings and assist with sales calls for the purposes of developing, coaching, and mentoring the sales teamOrientation of new employees to sales processes, operations, technology and resources Lead and develop future talent through an Agronomy Internship & Sales Trainee ProgramMaintain a professional network to help attract and recruit future applicantsWork closely with Interns and Sales Trainees to assess talent and develop skillsSales ProcessesResponsible for executing and growing sales volumes of Agronomy products and servicesEnsure all sales processes are documented, simplified and followed by all Resolve all issues in both the companys and the customer/vendors best interestBusiness PlanAssist with annual business plan developmentCommunicate and achieve margin expectations with regional sales teamResponsible for communication of business plan and objectives to the sales teamCreate individual goals and team objectives to achieve or exceed business plan objectives OtherLive the Cooperative brand by demonstrating a commitment to doing whats right, a solid work ethic, a strong sense of ownership, a passion for excellence, and genuine respect for othersSet and complete quarterly rocksAttend training, professional development and continuing education opportunitiesBe personally responsible for the safety of self and othersPerform other tasks as assignedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn other key operational computer programsAbility to effectively communicate both verbally and in writingAbility to remain goal-driven in a fast-paced environmentExcellent organizational skills including multi-tasking, planning, and prioritizingCertifications, Licenses, Registrations:Valid drivers licenseMeet the driver qualification standards set by the self-insured group in which the cooperative is a memberPre-employment drug testing requiredComply with Cooperative Drug and Alcohol PolicyQualifications:Graduation from an accredited related program.
