Compensation: $80000.00 to $110000.00 yearly

Robert Half Finance is looking for an Accounting Manager for a position in Fond du lac. Candidates who can take charge of daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties, will be preferred for this Accounting Manager position.

Your responsibilities in this role

- Work alongside FP&A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

- Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

- Prepare a variety of technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures

- Drive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet close deadlines

- Prepare balance sheets and income statement accounts

- Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements, which includes document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

Job Requirements:
- Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

- Solid technology and analytical abilities

- Experience with inventory or costing

- Command of journal entries

- Comprehensive knowledge of financial statement preparation

- Proficiency in account reconciliation

- Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
