Job SummaryJob Title: Benefits ManagerFLSA Status: SalaryReports To: Benefits Director Under the direction of the Benefits Director, the primary focus of this position is the support and maintenance of all Human Resource Benefits programs. This individual serves as a the point-of-contact for all Festival Foods' associates regarding Benefits programs. Job DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide vision, leadership, planning, project coordination for all Benefits systems/programs at Festival FoodsMaintain awareness of vendor plans and the potential impact of those plans on current and future Benefits systemsProvide support for Benefits including, but not limited to, researching and resolving Benefit problems for all associatesRecommend process improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes prior to implementation.Serve as key liaison between vendors and associates as applicableTrain HR partners and leadership teams on new processes for Benefits.Participate in user group meetings/conferences.Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absencesOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or similar field2-3 years of prior Benefits or HR Generalist experience with progressively more responsibility and a track record of results. A strong understanding of the Human Resources Benefits functions (including 401K and ESOP) preferred Strong project management and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize workExcellent organizational skillsInitiative to improve processes High degree of problem solving skills Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary effortsAbility to communicate with technical and non-technical usersRELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTSSupervisory Relationships: Directly reports to the Benefits Director Organization Relationships: Daily contact with all levels of management to provide Benefit interpretation and guidance. Frequent contact with Human Resources associates, and management to gain information, work on joint projects and utilize expertise. External Business Relationships: Frequent contact with Benefit and 401K vendors.
