Shipping PM

Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00PM to 10:30PM

Position Overview

Be part o f a fast paced world class distribution center. Shipping Order Fulfillment Team Members process customer orders from around the world, ensuring final steps for accurate delivery are complete and all orders are provided to the carriers for same day shipping, satisfying our customer's needs.

Responsibilities

Must be able to...

• Process orders efficiently and accurately
• Adapt to changes in software and processes quickly, and accurately
• Train into carrier specific software programs, Fed Ex Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, USPS Endicia, DHL EasyShip, and show a demonstrated ability to process orders correctly
• Ability to read order notes and make the best determination of the next step in processing the order
• Work hand in hand with IT troubleshooting errors with the ability to recognize and thoroughly explain the error that is occurring
• Process invoices
• Cross train to all Shipping stations, and have the ability to work any station on any particular day as business dictates
• Act as a liaison between Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, Accounts Receivable, and PDC answering customer order questions
• Carry a high level of courtesy, and patience when communicating to other departments and peers
• Handle customer change-order requests when applicable
• Operate pallet jacks, pallet jack scale, and pallet wrapping machine
• Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Minimum/Essential Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
• Basic computer navigation and typing skills
• Ability to actively participate as a team member in order to meet departmental goals
• Ability to provide a positive, professional and enthusiastic outlook or perspective
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task as well as the ability to change focus quickly based on requests by employees/management
• Able to solve problems quickly and efficiently
• Dependable, responsible contributor committed to excellence and success
• Regular and consistent attendance due to need to access physical equipment
• Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist and arm motion
• Capable of spending 8-10 hours walking/standing on concrete
• Regularly lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder height
• Ability to twist or bend and occasionally climb stairs
• Ability to reach with hands and arms above shoulder level
• Must demonstrate the following behavioral competencies; attention to detail, customer/client focus, ethical conduct, manages execution, personal effectiveness/credibility, and positive attitude
