The Human Resources Specialist will contribute to the company's performance by providing day-to-day execution and support to the Human Resources functionat rms Company. The responsibilities of a Human Resources Specialist include: recruitment and placement of employees,employee orientation,benefits communication.HR Specialist Responsibilities:Recruit for top talent by participating in career fairs, partnering with management, conducting phones screens and scheduling interviews Coordinate new employee activitiesConduct new hire orientation Manage multiple staffing vendors and contractsEnsure paperwork is completed and stored in the employee filesEnsure the HRIS system is up-to-date by sending changes to the payroll department for processingAnswer benefits questions, assist employees with the online enrollment systemWorks closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retentionActively promote cultural change and support new ways of working and continuous improvement within HR to provide a high quality, profession, consistent, and cohesive HR service. Coordinate wellbeing initiativesCoordinate recognition programs Participate in the workplace committeeTrack HR metricsEnsure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properlyParticipate in required company meetings Maintain an organized work area (5S)Participate in the Operational Excellence Program Supports and complies with the company's Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirementsWhat We're Looking For:Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field or equivalent experience1+ year related experience in Human Resources, and minimum 1 year Recruiting experienceAbility to consistently achieve short and long-term business resultsAbility to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks when neededAbility to follow through on commitments and hold team members accountable Attention to detailStrong presentation, communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving skills, analytical and system thinking ability; demonstrated through previous experienceStrong initiative and results orientationAbility to effectively and professionally convey information to others, be an active listener, and develop healthy working relationships with othersGood judgement, decision making skills and ability to keep information confidentialMust be able to work and communicate well with a variety of people at all levels within the company, as well as outside the companyAbility to use Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and ERP and other business-related systemsApplicants will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, disability, age, veteran status, marital status, family status, status with regard to public assistance, or any other protected status as required by law.
