Make a Difference.Pre-Payment Account ManagerThe Pre-Payment Account Manager serves as the primary relationship owner and contact for an assigned group of customer accounts and is responsible for retention and growth. The Account Manager identifies needs and consults on best practices for solutions to ensure customers derive maximum value from our products and services. Also responsible for facilitating and conducting effective customer meetings with stakeholders at all organization levels, including C-Suite, identifying new business and upsell opportunities within existing customers, partnering with the Sales team to aid in increasing revenue, and effectively managing customer activities to ensure renewal and retention.What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?Develop a trusted advisor relationship with customers, stakeholders, and executive sponsors; provide knowledge and insight of industry trends, opportunities and solutions that will support customer's business needs and goalsServe as customer operational expert for all aspects of top tier assigned customers for both existing and potential areas of partnershipDevelop and execute customer-specific account plans, outlining revenue retention and growth strategies, including identification of business and upsell opportunitiesCreate and deliver Business Reviews with all assigned customers per corporate guidelinesManage revenue forecast and track key customer metricsCoordinate operational and strategic activities internally to improve customer experience and strengthen corporate processes across Onboarding, Support, Sales, Customer Experience, Business Intelligence, Product, IT, Customer Communications, Billing and FinanceServe as escalation point for operational disruption across all defined areas of partnershipCultivate references at each customer within assigned portfolio as applicablePartner with internal cross-functional teams to identify and deliver processes, workflows and solutions on time, with functionality that meets or exceeds customer goalsManage customer activity with CRM tools for maximum accuracy, efficiency and visibility with carefully executed follow-up to closure on open customer issuesWhat are the requirements needed for this position?5 or more years of experience in account management or a related customer-facing role utilizing a consultative approach to managing complex customer relationshipsHealthcare industry experience, specifically in the health plan or provider sectorWorking knowledge and experience with contracts and contract negotiationsBachelor's degree or related and equivalent experienceWhat other skills/experience would be helpful to have?Experience with payment integrity programs preferredProfessional and effective written and verbal communication skills including ability to effectively engage, influence, work collaboratively and gain trust with all levels of internal and external organizationsStrong interpersonal skillsHighly organized and capable of driving multiple projects to completion simultaneously including balancing customer deliverables on multiple projects as well as internal obligationsDemonstrated ability to work independently and remain motivatedStrong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skillsNegotiation skills and financial acumenProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and video conferencing, with Salesforce and Net Promoter Score experience preferredWhat are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?
