The Sales Manager we are seeking is an entry-level professional, who will be held accountable for the daily operations and supervision of an assigned location. The individual in this position will manage the operations of the store to ensure that company standards and expectations are consistently met. Business functions are executed in a manner that will deliver the desired sales and profit results while providing the highest level of service to our customers.Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Maximize home store profitability by increasing sales, building customer base, controlling expenses, and preventing cash lossesSupport the company's goals by focusing on personal accountability, customer service excellence, and work efficiencyDemonstrate standards and model behavior in the areas of sales, collections, customer service, productivity, and efficacyParticipate in the on-going training, development and motivation of staffLead by example by regularly working in a customer service representative capacity and interacting with the customerCreate and maintain a clean and safe work environment, and maintain a high standard of housekeepingInteract with home store's neighborhood/community through localRequirementsThorough knowledge of basic math in order to handle and balance cash and financial transactionsBasic computer skills (Microsoft Excel proficiency preferred)Must have the ability to use discretion in the controlling of confidential informationMust possess excellent organizational and communication skills, both oral and writtenAbility to present a professional imageMust possess excellent interpersonal skills, create a motivating environment, and provide a superior level of service to ensure a positive experience for all customersMust be able to plan, prioritize, delegate, and follow through to successful completion, all assignments
