Job Information

In this role you will lead the optimization of Traditional Media (TV, radio, OOH, Print) for Bobcat Company. The ideal candidate demonstrates great critical thinking, sophisticated understanding of the traditional media landscape, and phenomenal client management. This position is open to location of Minneapolis, MN or West Fargo, ND.



Role & Responsibility

??? Traditional media strategy & thought leadership.
??? Subject matter expert for Traditional Local Media strategies (e.g., TV, radio, OOH, etc.) by continually delivering results and staying on top of emerging trends.
??? Develop and execute traditional media strategies and roadmaps aligned with growth goals.
??? Local traditional media management & execution: Lead day-to-day buy negotiating, execution and stewardship for TV and Radio buys within an assigned set of markets.
??? Develop detailed local media recommendations that meet buy spec parameters such as budget, flighting, delivery, unit length splits and other criteria.
??? Maintain productive relationships with local media outlets and their sales representatives, keeping up to date on local media developments and changes in the landscape.
??? Ensure delivery and create custom analysis, reporting and insights.

Advance marketing planners and other internal stakeholders, including;
??? Creation of tactical channel strategies, analyzing performance data to provide intelligent synthesis, interpretation and appropriate action plans.
??? Communicate with marketing planners on all elements of performance of media initiatives.
Team Development:
??? Hire and onboard team to develop disciplined, data-driven optimizers with appropriate skills.



Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related major.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in digital marketing media and 5+ years of marketing leadership experience.
  • Proven mastery Performance-based, direct response marketing, Test and Learn best practices.
  • Execution with platform UIs and ad serving / ad tech (DSPs, Facebook Business Manager, Google Display, etc.)
  • Team leadership and employee development.
    • Recruit, train and manage new team members.
    • Foster a culture of open communication.
    • Inspire your team and direct reports.
  • Performance media management & execution: Guide, manage, and QA optimization and management of Bobcat paid media marketing initiatives.
  • Campaign tactics and segmentation strategy, with a customer first mindset.
  • Algorithmic bid platform and manual bidding strategy and optimization to optimize to enterprise.
  • Strategic partner management.
  • Custom analysis, reporting and insights that can scale across channels.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional and demonstrated analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
  • Highly motivated and a proactive problem solver.
