Position Objective:
Coordinate and manage capital projects, monitor process operations/controls, and assist with technical issues for the Boyceville, WI facility to support production, maintenance, process improvements, and new process development. Reporting directly to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager

Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Chemical, Mechanical or Process engineering preferred
  • >3 years engineering experience with project related background.
  • Ability to create projects to support improvements in plant operations
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
?? Understanding of GMP's, engineering in food production environments, and 3A standards.
?? Familiarity with process controls
?? Comprehensive oral and written skills
  • Moderate travel: up to (20%) may be required.
Salary : $75K-$85K w/ 10% bonus; Benefits, EOE, Relocation, No Sponsorship

Job Requirements:

Performance Standards:
Project Engineering
  • Define capital project scope and cost as directed by the management team.
  • Ensure that the needs of all stake holders are identified and addressed during the project definition and costing stage.
  • Manage capital ensure that all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner and completed within scope, on time, on budget and meet all applicable design standards.
  • Provide downtime requirements to Production Manager for scheduling.
  • Coordinate equipment installations and construction as necessary to ensure minimal disruption of production.
  • Complete capital projects and repairs on time/on budget.
Process Technology & Development
  • Ensure all departments are generally aware of project work which may be occurring in their areas and maintain particular/formal daily communications with the production manager.
  • Maintain a system that facilitates the 'upward' flow of ideas and concerns.
  • Actively participate in daily production meetings
  • Monitor and provide technical inputs to the extraction, processing and drying operations.
  • Serve as technical liaison between the corporation's operating units and outside contractors and consultants.
  • Provide technical support to production, maintenance, R&D, and quality control departments.
  • Make appropriate provisions in regard to job duties in case of absence
  • Make safety a priority and insist on strict adherence to safety policies/procedures.
  • Ensure safety is engineered into project work.
