Line Mechanic

Silgan Containers, the largest manufacturer of metal food containers in the United States, has an immediate full time Line Mechanic opening at our Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin facility.

Responsibilities:

• Mechanic is responsible for monitoring, servicing, maintaining, overhaul, and adjustment of the equipment of a high speed metal sheet coating manufacturing plant.
• Job preparation for Operators
• Relief of operators.
• Required paperwork, documentation and various clean up tasks.
• Additional tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Mechanical aptitude and comprehension with experience
• Drill, Tap, Ream knowledge with experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• The successful candidate must be able to work nights and weekends.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Typically employees work 12 hours per day, either 3 or 4 days per week, 6pm to 6am, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Sunday.

Employees may be required to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally.
