The Strategy Analyst supports the Commercial Strategy team by gathering, organizing, and reporting Bobcat’s strategic initiative results. They will be responsible for implementing software tools to optimize the strategic results reporting. Also, the Strategy Analyst will analyze the strategic initiative results, identifying trends and areas needing improvement.

Role & Responsibility

The primary responsibility of the Strategy Analyst will be to work across corporate functions to gather and organize the corporate strategic initiatives results. They will be responsible for developing performance trend analysis between our initiatives and corporate objectives. The Analyst will identify opportunities to improve strategic performance reporting through implementation and utilization of software.

Scorecard Management:
  • Gather and publish strategic initiative results each month
  • Ensure the strategy is updated to reflect all critical corporate initiatives
  • Develop ongoing improvements in communication of strategic initiative results
  • Analyze the monthly initiative results, determining where improvement is needed


Implementation and Utilization of Strategy Software Tools
  • Effectively implement and organize strategy software
  • Automate the gathering of strategy initiative data
  • Create automated reporting of monthly strategic results


Strategic Project Management:
  • As requested, manage projects related to corporate strategic initiative execution
  • Work with managers to identify key initiatives and associated milestones on an ongoing basis
  • Analyze and report the performance of initiatives


Job Requirement

  • Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience
  • Experience Requirment: 0 - 2 years
  • Travel Required:
  • Understanding of strategic planning concepts and methodology, Strategy Map & Scorecards preferred
  • Project and/or process management experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel & Power BI capability preferred
  • Fosters cross functional discussions and decisions

What skills, education, and experiences does your ideal candidate(s) have?

•Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
•These are entry level opportunities
•Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time in order to meet build requirements. Must possess the ability to read build sheets and blueprints.
•The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or GED is required.
•Job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on-the-job and classroom training. General instructions are given on recurring duties, operations and assignments; detailed instructions are given on new duties, operations and assignments.
