2nd Shift Loss Prevention Associate

Working in our fast-paced distribution facility, the 2nd shift Loss Prevention Officer will ensure the safety and security of the facility and assets by acting as a liaison between visitors and employees, representing the department through positive interactions with other departments, and ensuring adherence to security policies.

This position will be responsible for protecting assets and ensures safeness, doing safety/hazard site walkthroughs, monitoring the hazard materials room, disposes of damaged materials, checks security of site, does cycle counting and performs First Responder duties. This position will also perform safety orientations to new hires, conduct general investigations, and oversee employees who enter/exit the building.

Qualified applicants will have the following:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work second shift - Sundays - Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
• Experience with CCTV preferred
• Intermediate computer skills required
• Working towards a degree in Criminal Justice or 2-4 years of practical experience in Security, Loss Prevention or Law Enforcement Field preferred.
• Able to work a varied schedule to include early mornings, swing shift, nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
• CPR/First Aide Certified or able to obtain certification through company provided training
• Pay for this position will range from $15.00-16.00/hour, plus a .75/hour shift differential. Base pay will be administered depending upon individual qualifications.
